How to rent electronic textbooks?

Electronic textbooks rental service – one more way to save your money on education.
One of the most popular electronic content provider – Amazon, present its new Kindle Textbook Rental service, which lets students rent e-books on their devices for up to a year.
Amazon promised up to 90 percent savings on used textbooks and up to 30 percent on new textbooks. Also they promised up to 70 percent back when you sell textbooks back at Amazon. It is very interesting offer for students. "Students tell us that they enjoy the low prices we offer on new and used print textbooks. Now we're excited to offer students an option to rent Kindle textbooks and only pay for the time they need—with savings up to 80 percent off the print list price on a 30-day rental," Dave Limp, vice president of Amazon Kindle, said in a statement.
Students can use rental start at 30 days and can go up to 360 days, depending on how long they need access to the book. Amazon will also save all notes made in the textbook, even after rental expires.
Limp said: "Normally, when you sell your print textbook at the end of the semester you lose all the margin notes and highlights you made as you were studying,". "We're extending our Whispersync technology so that you get to keep and access all of your notes and highlighted content in the Amazon Cloud, available anytime, anywhere—even after a rental expires. If you choose to rent again or buy at a later time, your notes will be there just as you left them, perfectly Whispersynced."
As an advantage of using Kindle devices for textbooks is that you can access all your rented textbooks across devices. You can use Kindle and pick up on the Kindle smartphone app.
Amazon sells thousands of textbooks for every school year from all popular publishers.
For example, you can buy new textbook Biology with MasteringBiology for $215.80 or can rent it for $38.51.
So, save your money with Amazon Kindle!
